Our first five designs for children's chairs are simple in concept but very exacting to produce. Sturdy and beautifully crafted, each chair requires several stages of creation and at each stage a lot of careful hand work and great accuracy is required. Many people take great care to produce every chair and the result is a unique gift of high quality.
Each chair is simplicity itself to assemble and dismantle and assemble again. There is no need to drill holes or follow printed instructions. Held together by steel bolts screwed into steel inserts it is very stong and so simple to assemble. It can be put away, stored or taken to play with friends.

The finishes are all safe for children using water based finishes and pigments. Several coats of varnish are sanded by hand between coats to achieve a smooth high quality lustre. The colours are truly exquisite and there is a final scratch proof coating to protect the decoration.
The rocking chair has been tested by FIRA (Furniture Industry Research Association) and has passed BS EN 1022 for stability.
The chairs are intended for indoor use only.
