We take safety and quality seriously. So that your children can rock in safety, all our rocking chairs have passed BSEN 1022 for stability.
All finishes used from the first base coat to the final scratch proof coating comply with EN 71 iii which means that if your child really wants to chew the furniture, whilst it might harm the chairs, it won’t harm your child.

When you buy our products you can be assured that our belief in ethical sourcing means that all our children‘s chairs and toys are made by adults working in a safe environment and receiving a fair wage.
The Planet
FairyTale Children’s Furniture® uses FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) products to preserve the world’s precious trees and we use water based varnishes and pigments which contain no heavy metals, are safe for children and kind to the planet.
